This precious oil was extracted from the fruit of the argan tree (argania spinosa) which grows mainly in southwestern Morocco. Similar to walnuts, the fruit of the argan tree is called oily almonds. A true gift from nature, argan oil is made up of more than 75% fatty acids (omega 6 and 9) and is very rich in tocopherol (vitamin E) and antioxidants.
